Now, the Galaxy A42 5G is receiving new software updates in the United States, which include security improvements and new user-friendly features. According to information, users of the Samsung Galaxy A42 5G smartphone locked by Verizon can now receive the May 2021 security patch via OTA (PDA: A426USQU2AUE2).
In addition, the new Galaxy A42 5G has also improved the quick sharing function to enhance file sharing with other Android devices. In addition, it includes a useful new feature called Screen Recorder, which can be accessed from the quick panel.
