In its latest financial earnings report, Activision Blizzard has confirmed that Diablo Immortal, a free-to-play mobile game, will be releasing soon. Although the game was announced back in 2018, the company stayed quiet until the technical alpha in December 2020.
Activision Blizzard said, “Diablo Immortal entered its second phase of testing and is on track for global release later this year.” Diablo Immortal will feature various classes including Crusader, Barbarian, Monk, Demon Hunter, Wizard, and Necromancer. It will be one of the two Diablo titles coming this year, with the second one being Diablo 2: Resurrected. Diablo 2: Resurrected is a remaster of the original titles for consoles and PC. It recently got a technical alpha in April 2021.
Activision Blizzard is also working on the next major entry in the Diablo franchise, Diablo 4. Currently, Diablo 4 does not have a release date.
